Thomas Schillinger has been appointed Senior Business Development Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by Travelport. The 36-year-old, who is based in Frankfurt am Main, bolsters the Travelport sales team in the area and will particularly spearhead new client acquisition in the German market.
Schillinger is experienced in the travel business. He spent eleven years with Aviareps AG before to joining Travelport, serving most recently as Managing Director. He oversaw a group of more than 25 employees in this role and was in charge of hiring new clients as well as creating more effective procedures and solutions for current clients. Thomas Schillinger also spent some time in Budapest and the Netherlands. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Travel during this period.
